Cultural Arts

Cultural arts at the JCA includes a wide variety of cultural programs, activities, and special events which have a significant impact on JCA members, the Jewish community and the greater Jacksonville community at-large. These programs occur within the framework of the total agency program and objectives.

The cultural arts department is responsible for scheduling and implementing a continuing schedule of art shows in the Vandroff Art Gallery. The department is also responsible for the Jewish Heritage Video Collection, purchasing films and supervising the rentals. The Jewish Book Festival is under the direction of this department, arranging for speakers and sale of books. The cultural arts department also arranges for concerts such as the favorite Young Concert Artists series as well as special events and speakers.
