ECE Symposium -- Play: Where Learning Begins

The JCA will host its 5th Annual Early Childhood Symposium entitled "Play: Where Learning Begins" from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2013.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rebecca Isbell, ECE Professor and Director of the Center of Excellence in Early Childhood at East Tennessee State University.

Children’s learning begins with exploration, discovery, and curiosity. In other words -- play! Play and learning are interwoven. This symposium will inspire you to experience the power of play, to reflect, to grow, and to gain valuable insights.

The evening will feature stimulating breakout sessions from experienced presenters, resources and displays, as well as a delicious dinner. Continuing education units (CEUs) are available for an additional fee. The cost is $35 per person before Oct. 10 and $45 per person after that date (includes dinner).
