 After-School Program: The JCA offers a great after-school experience including challenging and varied activities, enrichment options, a monitored homework room, and superb facility).
Art Lessons: Students have the opportunity to perfect skills in drawing, painting, and modeling. Call for art class information.
Break Away Days: On days when school is closed, we offer a full day of care where your child will experience a wide range of activities including sports, swimming, arts and crafts, cooking and much more.
Chess Club: Learn or perfect this ancient game of wits. Beginners and experienced players welcome.
Music Lessons: Guitar and piano lessons available.
Study Zone: If you are age 10-14, we offer a monitored quiet room, reference materials, and a snack every school day afternoon.

Babysitter’s Training Course: Learn CPR, first aid, and how to prepare for an emergency if home alone or babysitting, taught by American Red Cross certified instructors.

Conversations About College: This seminar is designed to counsel high school students and their families toward well-informed, sound educational decisions that will enhance their overall development, assist them throughout the college planning and placement process, and lead to long-term success after graduation. Led by college consultant, Deborah Kaye.
JTV (Jacksonville Teens Volunteer): Fulfill your community service requirements while improving the community through an extraordinary program filled with service and social activism.
Kaplan SAT Prep Class: This series prepares students for the SAT with practice tests, test-taking strategies, and by identifying personal strengths and weaknesses. Call Kaplan to register: 642-7741.

Teen Driver Training: The JCA is partnering with the North Florida Traffic School to offer the Drug and Alcohol Traffic Awareness class, mandatory to obtain a permit license. Call the North Florida Traffic School to register: 396-6869.
Teen Topics: Once a month, come to the “J” for a safe place to voice your opinion and hear good advice on topics that affect you.
